The Ultimate Bikepacking Adventure
RIDING THE GREAT DIVIDE
It’s natural to dream of adventure.
It’s about to get real. Join me as I prepare for an epic solo journey, bikepacking the Grand Divide Mountain Bike Route (GDMBR) from Banff in Canada to Antelope Wells, on the border with Mexico, traversing the rugged Rockies and wilderness on the longest off-pavement route in the world.
I don’t know how far I’ll get, but I’ll give it my all.
I’m also hoping to raise some money for Cancer Research UK. Sponsorship welcome!
ROBIN IS NOW back home!
The Great Divide Mountain Bike Route was developed by the Adventure Cycling Association between 1995 and 1998.
I’m bikepackingthe GDMBR in 2025, beginning in the middle of July and finishing at the end of September.
This adventure will take me through some of the most breathtaking landscapes in North America, covering over 2,700 miles of challenging terrain. Follow along as I share my preparation, gear choices, and the incredible experiences encountered along the way.
