Riding the Great Divide
In summer 2025 I made it 2,000 miles along the Great Divide before crashing out in Del Norte, Colorado — five broken ribs ending an incredible journey.
This is unfinished business.
In August 2026 I’m heading back to finish what I started.

The preparation
Starting at 127 kg, a year of transforming body and mind — a coach, logging every meal, and building from finishing last in an 82 km gravel race to being ready for the Divide.
2,000 miles of magic
Snow-capped Banff, Montana’s Big Sky, the basins of Wyoming, the high passes of Colorado. Amazing scenery, amazing people, an incredible journey.
The crash
On an unremarkable strip of dirt outside Del Norte, Colorado — a crash, and five broken ribs. The journey ended. But not the dream.
The return
This is unfinished business. In August 2026 I’m heading back to finish what I started — from where I stopped to Antelope Wells.
